Teeth Grinding Symptoms
Teeth Grinding Symptoms
I wanted to talk to you about the teeth grinding symptoms that you might be experiencing. A lot of people are completely unaware of this problem. The condition is known as bruxism and the average person couldn’t even tell you what that means. A surprising amount of people actually do it though. I used to wake up in the morning with an extremely sore jaw. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why. I just thought maybe I slept funny on my face or something, but that didn’t seem like a probable reason. I soon learned that I was grinding my teeth, than it all made sense. I’m going to talk to you about the teeth grinding symptoms, so you can better identify it.
There are basically three symptoms of this problem. The first is having a sore jaw. When you grind your teeth, you’re going to use your jaw muscles to do this. It’s such an unorthodox thing to do that your jaw easily gets sore. The second reason is that you wake up with a splitting headache. Often people think they just need their morning coffee, but you’re probably grinding your teeth. The last reason is that your teeth are sore. If your teeth are aching, than you probably have exposed roots from grinding all night.
Now that we gone over the teeth grinding symptoms, I can show you what you can do. The easiest thing is to get a mouth guard at a sports store. It protects your teeth to stop grinding. The reason you grind is usually due to some sort of stress. The "natural" way of dealing with it, is dealing with your stress.
